Great sandy beaches
Stintino has some of the best beaches you can find in the whole of the Mediterranean. Pure white powder sand with clear aquamarine sea make it a delight to sunbath and relax, take a dip in the shallow clear warm waters which are great for swimming and snorkeling. This is why most people come to visit this area and none are disappointed.
Activities and Sports.
Many of the Hotels have tennis courts for there guests use and from various beaches in the area it is possible to arrange various water sports including sailing, windsurfing, cannoes, small boats and hobie cats all are available for rent. There are also horse riding stables that offer lovely treks through the local countryside and dunes.
Dive Centre
There are two dive centres in the area of Stintino that have facilities for both beginner and advanced. The national park of Asinara Island is a perfect area to enjoy the beautiful clear seas on this part of Sardinia. Some of the best and most enjoyable diving on the Island.
Restaurants and evening entertainment
The area has a great selection of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Stintino hotels have visited a number of restaurants in and around the area that have a good reputation and offer value plus quality. However, there are many to choose from and many new establishments that open every year that once in the resort just ask the locals for recommendations.

Great location on the harbourside in stintino. This is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink with a light meal or snack.
La Darsena restaurant
This is a delightful restaurant that offers fresh fish and seafood. Perfect location overlooking the sea, the tables downstairs on the decking terrace are directly on the waters edge. The food is simply prepared and represents good value.
L'Ancora Porticciolo
Great beach side restaurant offering a relaxed atmoshere in elegent surroundings. The L'Ancora has a mix of Italian and sardinian specialalities, the menu offers has a good selection of meat, fresh fish or sea food. Quality wine list.
Agriturismo Depalmas.
This Agriturismo property offers a great 30 euro menu including starter, main course, dessert, water, coffee and wine. There is a choice at each course and the food is well prerared using local produce. The restaurant is situated in a peacful location in the countryside close to the village of Stintino.
Nightlife.
Stintino is low key when it comes to nightlife. As most people come here to enjoy the daytime pleasures the evenings tend to involve a drink followed by a nice dinner. Many of the hotels offer some form of evening entertainment, if your looking for late nights then a stay combined with Alghero may be a good option.
